- 1 tablespoon (16g) natural peanut butter
- 1 tablespoon (5g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (120ml) unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1–2 teaspoons (5–10ml) maple syrup or honey (optional)
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions
- Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl or jar, combine chia seeds, protein powder, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir well.
- Add wet ingredients: Pour in almond milk and mix until smooth. Add peanut butter and sweetener if using, stirring thoroughly.
- Rest and stir again: Let sit for 5–10 minutes, then stir again to break up any clumps.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours or overnight until thick and creamy.
- Serve: Stir once more before serving and add desired toppings.

- Stir twice during the first 10 minutes to prevent clumping.
