- 1 loaf French bread, cut into slices
- 1 package (24 ounces) frozen meatballs (or homemade)
- 1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup mayonnaise or sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare Bread: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange bread slices in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Make Creamy Layer: Mix softened cream cheese, mayonnaise (or sour cream), and Italian seasoning. Spread over bread slices.
- Add Meatballs & Sauce: Place meatballs evenly, then pour marinara sauce on top.
- Top with Cheese: Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan over the dish.
- Bake: Bake uncovered 30–35 minutes, until cheese is golden and bubbly.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley, rest 5 minutes, and serve hot.
